Koopsta Knicca

(1993-2000) Robert Cooper, better known by his stage name Koopsta Knicca, is an American rapper. He is best known as one of original members of the Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia and for his melodic 'fast-rapping' style similar to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

He released a solo album produced by DJ Paul, Da Devil's Playground in 1999. Cooper left Three 6 Mafia soon afterwards due to financial issues. He has continued his solo work with albums Da K Project, Da Inevitable, and The Mind of Robert Cooper. He is currently working on a new album, Da Devil's Playground 2. He has accused Three 6 Mafia of preventing his music from being played on Memphis radio stations. Koopsta Knicca is currently working on the new album, Da Devil's Playground 2. Ex-Three 6 Mafia member, left over a dispute about appearing on ex-Hypnotize Minds member Kingpin Skinny Pimp's independent album.

In 2006, Cooper was arrested for aggravated robbery of friend and Memphis rapper Justin "Lil' J" Thurman, whom Cooper held at gunpoint and demanded $7000. This occurred the same night his former group Three 6 Mafia won the Best Original Song Academy Award for It's Hard out Here for a Pimp, from the movie Hustle & Flow.
